Mold Aspect: Compared with ultrasonic and resistance welding, the mold life is longer,
requiring less maintenance and replacement time for molds, and is conducive to automation.
Energy Consumption: Ultrasonic welding can be performed between the same metal and
different metals, with much lower energy consumption compared to arc welding.
Comparison with Pressure Welding: Compared to other pressure welding methods, ultrasonic
welding requires lower pressure, resulting in deformation of less than 10%, while cold pressure
welding causes deformation of 40%-90% in workpieces.
Welding Treatment: Ultrasonic welding does not require pre-treatment and post-treatment of the
welding surface like other welding methods.
Welding Advantages: Ultrasonic welding does not rely on external factors like flux, metal fillers,
or external heating.
Welding Effect: Ultrasonic welding can minimize the temperature effect on materials (welding area
temperature does not exceed 50% of the melting temperature of the welding metal). The metal
structure remains unchanged, making it suitable for applications in the electronics field.
Ultrasonic metal welding machines offer these features that make them a valuable tool for joining
metals in a precise, efficient, and controlled manner, particularly in industries requiring minimal
heat input and structural integrity preservation.
